Before applying the school-leaving procedures for graduation, leave of absence, expulsion, students must return all the library materials and pay the overdue fines to NTPU library, other inter-loan cooperative school libraries, and other counterparts with the service of borrowing card exchange. If the borrowing privilege has been suspended, students have to pay the correspondent overdue fines, and then students can apply the school-leaving procedures. Undergraduates who don’t complete all the procedures mentioned above are viewed the same as students who fail to finish the school-leaving procedures. As a result, the school will defer issuing the diploma of graduation. The further details for instruction are written below:
    The examination for the progress of school-leaving will be conducted via online system. Students can log in the area of “My Account” under the section of“ Library Catalog” to check the status of materials borrowing, privilege suspension, or any unpaid overdue fines.
If any library materials are lost or damaged, here are the ways for compensation.
First, Users should compensate the same materials that you borrowed or the latest version of the materials.
Second, if there is a hard time purchasing the same materials, users can pay the compensation fee as the alternative. Standards for calculation：
The compensation fee for the lost material is twice of the price that originally the library spent for purchasing the material

• For the loss of the supplementary materials (appendix), the compensation fee would be the purchasing price of the material that the supplementary materials attach to.
• For the loss of the library materials, including the supplementary materials(appendix) that the library got not by purchasing, the compensation fee would be 400TWD for each.
